I need a lot of US Marines from the 2003 Iraq War. Can I substitute US Army figures for them? What modifications would I need to make?
I'm not abject to light sculpting and shaving, but don't have the skills for a major overhaul. I have sourced all the figures I can, in the poses I need and am coming up five short.
Figures
Military figures of all shapes and sizes.

Matt,
In 2003 the majority of troops wore the three color DCUs, the desert MARPAT uniforms were just coming into the system and weren't all that common. So you'll be safe using whatever you find in DCUs; almost entirely across the board the Marines had MOLLE gear, some reserve units and FSSG units still had some ALICE gear but it wasn't common; the vests were either woodland camo or coyote - the MOLLE pouches were however woodland.

Thank you. That is very informative and just what I was hoping to hear.
