Andy is probably one of the few guys with no shelf queens or half-finished projects.

I received my RFM Panther G from 1999 and it is a fabulous kit.

BTW, I saw Andy's video on building this kit and wondered why he did not use the firewall as a spacer pushed part way down when putting in the photo etch flooring and the suspension parts. It would have made the whole process easier.

Andy's a good guy and has brought a lot of new folk into modeling, but he makes a number of mistakes and odd choices sometimes. Perhaps because he is a little distracted by the process of making a video as he builds? I remember when he was building a Hetzer a while back and put the exhaust on the wrong way.

Speaking of Andy, has anyone noticed that his Google+ site is down or is it just me?

Oh, I can get to his youtube channel no problem, but apparently his Modelcon forum has disappeared according to Google and their patented "404 explains it all" error page.

Andy does come across like a great guy and I have watched a LOT of his videos. They have their value and they are a good "what's in the box" plus extra as someone mentioned.

Andy is clearly not a rivet counter type, however, and he seems to derive his fun from moving quickly through projects and completing them. He is clearly not that concerned with historical detail and accuracy, but he probably speaks for many modelers who feel similarly.

His Youtube channel provides a valuable resource for modelers, though mostly beginners in my opinion. I have been building models for 35 years + but I still enjoy his videos, so there you go!
