I started to build a 1/35 Miniart beautiful SU-85 kit, that comes with full interior. Would it be sacrilege to build it all closed and do not care for the interior?

No. It is your model. Build it how you want to.

I am afraid of my own regrets... But definitely I want exterior model shape with everything closed. Otherwise I would have to leave all sorts of unglued parts so you can still see the interior.

But, maybe it is better to get some different kit with no interior and leave this one be for a while?

If Miniart continues their method with the T-55 releases, first with interior and then without interior, there could be a SU-85 without interior.

Maybe you could build the interior as a separate model?
Use plasticard to create a support structure to attach the interior parts to.

I don't build interiors either, so, not building the interior could be taking those sprues and use them to trade. Another alternative is to simply put them on eBay!

AMOF MiniArt released SU-85 (early) without interior in 2016(#35178):
https://www.scalemates.com/kits/997119-miniart-35178-su-85-mod-1943

So you can skip the interior now.
Should you change your mind at some point in the future, you can always buy the above mentoned kit and add the interior to it.

You could always do a cut-away.

That's exactly what I did some years ago with a Tamiya M113 interior. That way you have two kits in one!

So I went ahead and deleted the interior from my build and so far I have no regrets. By the way, the MiniArt kit fit is not from this world. Some connector issues but if a bit careful it goes withou any flaws. Amazing.
