Hello everyone
I started a new project, it's a Chevrolet 1533X2 from the Tamiya Kit (British Commander LDRG Car - Nro 32407)
The model preserves the typical quality of a Tamiya, very easy to assemble, but has some brands of injection.
The additions of Master Box, really add up, mainly the figures, since the originals of the kit, the figures of Tamiya, are of a very basic quality, with respect to those of Master Box.
The kit:

A typical comment coming from me . . . .
I wish as long as Papa Tamiya was building this much of a regular Chevy 4x2 cargo truck he would have thought to produce the pre-war standard US cargo truck as well.

A word of warning, the tires in that kit are notorious for splitting apart. I would strongly suggest that you replace them with resin ones. Al

I think I would go for the wheels by DEF:
When I built the LRDG many many moons ago, back in the previous millenium, the soft wheels split before I could even get them on the rims, and there were no resin wheels back in the dark ages of modelling ....
I ought to replace those wheels one of these days ...

All those that have never had the Tamiya wheels split on their Chevy say 'AYE'....... (cricket chirps).......
Especially as the pic you linked to of the TWS ones shows a split in one tyre!
I actually have a set of TWS ones I intended to use on a new build, and they are not too bad, but a friend in my club started producing resin products and his wheel set was amazing so I bought a set from him. Unfortunately, he doesn't do casting any more....

That is very strange. When I did the masters for those wheels back in the 90's they were not split. They must not be using my resin masters, or remade the set.

Actually "Aye!"
My 35-year old wheels have never split. They weren't painted, either, so that may be part of it, but they have never split.
Notwithstanding, I have at least 2 sets of wheels for the other unbuilt kits I have in the stash...
