Just learned that the Finnish Army recently fielded the K9 Thunder SPH. I wonder if the Academy kit can be build OOTB. adding only the Finnish splinter camo?

DEF Model is working on an update set for the K9. The only thing missing are some aftermarket tracks.

Good to know...
Let me think... Hobbyboss CV9030, Meng Leopüard 2 A4 with KMT conversion, Academy K9 = Big hole in my bank account...
I wonder if we see a AMV in Swedish or Finnish service soon?

Oh, you forgot the coolest one:
Haven't they (Finland) moved those turrets to Leopard chassis now?

As for the K9, you will notice that's the same vehicle in all the photos. I'm not sure if they have received any others yet (still in testing?) but you can be sure there will be other unique Finnish items added.

Good observation
To get any model absolutely correct one needs to have complete photographic documentation of one specific individual at one specific date. Things get added, modified, removed, repositioned et.c.
I didn't check if it was the same vehicle in all the photos but maybe it was the first one delivered and painted in the Finnish camouflage so at least it was correct for the parades and shows in the summer of 2017
If the owners decide to change things afterwards is another matter

Here's another one (#4741) still in ROK camo scheme (I think...) :
These pics were taken in November 2016 during K9 trials at the Rovaniemi test range.
Here's the first delivery from South Korea in February 2018 :

Anyone saw this kit in a LHS or onlineshop? My LHS says that it´s not available in Germany.
