Good day, everyone))

Has anybody get their hands on this kit?
Main question is: what is the difference between 2017 edition, and the kit that was produced in 2011.
Cant find proper review on 2017 edition, only 2011 available.
Will be sad, if dragon just removed magic tracks, and put some vinyl in it, and called it 2017 edition.
Thanks, for help.

Later/newer batches of DML kits have DS tracks instead of Magic Tracks and, in most cases, reduced amount of PE and machined metal parts. That is to say, they are simplified versions at higher price.

This is what you get today in Dragon models site.
As you see, DS tracks. As I know, when the kit was launched
in 2011 it has Magic tracks.
When you purchase the kit anywhere the only way to know if the kit has Magic tracks or DS is take a look at the back of the box (if a pic is available). Another marketing hit from Dragon, you never know what are you buying if only saw the front of the box.

The Dragon is losing their teeths.
If you has to choose between Panthers from Meng or Dragon you think, well Meng has the tracks attached to the sprue but Dragonīs Panther has the Magic trac.... oh no, DS f... tracks.
Go with Meng.
Dragon Dragon, in what are you thinking.
By the way only some kits have both kind of track, Magic and DS and they show a rounded white with red letters sticker on the front, but they are really a needle in a haystack, I have a Stug IV late and the Befehlspanzer III G Dak with this sticker.
