Does anyone have any clear photos or diagrams of the extra armour fitted to Scimitar on the hull sides (behind the suspension and on the belly? Thank you.

That isn't what I mean I'm afraid. Earlier in it's career, Scimitar (not Scimitar 2) was fitted with belly armour as mine protection and bolted-on plates on the lower hull sides (behind the wheels/suspension) and under the sponsons. I'm not looking for bar armour, though that is a useful angle.

Or Perhaps if you contact the Alvis Fighting Vehicle Society, someone might help with photos
https://afvsociety.com/

I would say if anyone knows anything, it would be these guys

Spot on. Many thanks. I'm in touch with the Alvis Fighting Vehicle Society who will actually be removing these plates from a vehicle later this week.

That is great. If they provide pics, can you ask them if you can share the pictures? I would love to see them too.

Cheers
