Hello everybody,
the bridgelayer tank "Biber" of the German army, based on the tank Leopard 1.
This is a conversion of Perfect Scale, based on the Revell 1:35 kit o the Leopard 1. It consists of fine resin parts, photo etched parts, wire and decals.
The bridge itself unfortunately is no more available so I will finish this without bridge ...
Cheers
Michael

Nice in-progress images Michael. Why is there no bridge available? I seem to recall that PSM had one on their web site before.

They offered a combined kit of the tank and the bridge until some time ago .... the tank is still avaialble .... the bridge itself is no more on stock and could not be produced anymore at the moment (as they say...).
Elite Modelle offer an equal bridge but it has a very, very bad quality. That's why I will finish this one without bridge.... and the 2nd bridgelayer Leguan which I will build next will be with bridge

Michael - You are a very brave man to tackle both this and Wisent at the same time. I have both models and they are possibly the best resin kits I've ever seen.
I have shared both of your builds on my Facebook pages.
Here is a (Danish) Biber walkaround page: http://leopardclub.ca/Spotlight/Denmark/Biber/

Nice paintjob!
Before you start adding the tracks please use a ruler (lineal) to check the alignment of the road wheels. Some of them, judging by the pictures, seem to be going off in another direction than the others ...
Number three on the right side and number 4 on the left side
