Hello everybody,
the German manufacturer Perfect Scale offers a brand new kit of the German ARV "Wisent" in 1:35. The kit won the titel "Model of the Year" in Nuremberg this year.
It is a huge kit... in a huge box.... full of finest resin parts with great details.... great quality.... Plus a huge fret with photo etched parts, wire, decals and a mounting instruction.
Its a complete kit, nothing else is necessary. But I am planning to use a Friul track instead of the resin tracks of the kit.... but that's all.
The fitting is great - nearly the same as a "normal" plastic kit ...
Cheers
Micha

The body certainly does look like plastic Seems to be a very nice model indeed!
OT: Man, where do you take the time to build and finish so many outstanding models? I'm happy to carve out just enough time to properly finish one or two models a year... probably the cause for my ever growing stash, despite all efforts to reduce it by building...

Just to make it clear this is not a German (Army) ARV. Yes it was developed in Germany by FFG as an upgraded Bergepanzer 2, but this version modelled by PSM is used by the Danish Army, the only customer for Wisent 1.
These might be useful: http://leopardclub.ca/Spotlight/Denmark/Wisent_ARV/
The AEV is the same base vehicle: http://leopardclub.ca/Spotlight/Denmark/Wisent_AEV/
Michael - that grille on the rear deck should be flush with the deck.

Hello @ all,
the Wisent is painted in its base colors. I have used Hataks Danish Green, but gave it some yellow/green filter of Vallejo color, as the Danish Wisent has a more brighter and a bit yellowish green than the standard Danish Army green.
Also the sockets of the antennas are replaced by two real springs and resin parts of Leopardclub, the antenna follows later. The gun barrel needs to be replaced as the Danish one looks a bit different. I found a good looking one of company Master.
Now I will start the painting of all the small details, lamps and all the other small stuff. Also the decals follow next.... before some oil colors follow.
