Replacement Tracks Academy Panzer IV
Posted: Wednesday, March 07, 2018 - 03:47 AM UTC
I'm looking for replacement tracks for the Academy Panzer IV Aust.H kit #1327. I tried using the supplied rubber ones but the paint keeps flaking off. Individual link types could be nice as this would give me the option of showing separated on it in the diorama.

Kaizen makes a affordable workable tracks that are plastic but the links are held together with metal wire like Friulmodel. You can get them on E-bay for $19 plus shipping.

There are many manufacturers that do tracks for the PanzerIII/IV series
AFV Club
Masterclub
Model Kasten
Fruil Model
Wolf Pack design
Dragon did a set year ago, not up to Magic Track standard, but passable
Maybe if you post up on the forum you are after Dragon Magic tracks someone might have a spare set to offer or sell.

If you're on a super tight budget Academy make their own replacement Indy tracks that come complete with corrected drive sprocket and idler wheel. All the latest issues of the Academy Pzkpfw IV have them instead of the rubber band.

Stephen,
would you happen to know the product number for that set?
Academy used to have a set, 1357, but that has been hard to find lately ...
