I saw in a hobby shop this kit.

I never heard about that brand before. I want to know if someone here has ever build it or can give me some advise if worth or not to buy it.

Hope someone can help.

Best regards.

Old Nitto mold from early, early 70s. If you can find the Italeri version you will be much, much happier

Used to be the only game in town.

It's typical out of scale motorized toy/model, avoid.

Kit was originally produced in the 1960s by Nitto, about ten years before it was picked up by Blue Tank, which is long out of business now. The kit was the first model available of the LVTP, and had a battery, gear box and motor, which made it sit high, so it was out of scale. It came with a set of rubber band tracks, the turret was small and out of scale, and the details were either exaggerated or non-existent. I agree-- Italeri and AFV club have both released excellent LVTP kits within the last 10-15 years which relegate this kit to the junk pile. Blue tank was notorious for re-issuing many other kits that would not have seen the light of day because they were so bad. If you find a kit with the "Blue Tank" label, save your money. I built 3 of these kits under the Nitto label in the early 70s. Wouldn't go near them now.

It's actually a bad resized motorized copy of the Snap/Life-like 1/40 scale kit.

Modelcraft also reissued the Nitto kit.

I agree with all who have commented and it is best avoided. If you are a glutten for punishment you can replace the turret with the Tamiya M8 which gives it a little more respectability but it is pretty crude. In addition to the scale issue the Blue Tank re issue had what appear to be Diehl 2 Pad tracks from a Marder AIFV(?). The original tracks were not much better. Italeri is far in advance although you could use the AFV club tracks to give it more life

All of the above applies, my take is 5-10 bucks MAX.

It could be a simple kit to start a youngster on, esp. if you motorise it!

OR a compare & contrast with the Italeri & AFV Club kits.

Or a paint donkey to practice on
