Contacted Dragon Care (Dragon DON'T Care) once about selling parts, and was told that they don't open a stocked kit for parts unless the box is crushed, or otherwise unsalable.

My experience with DragonCare has been mixed. I've had some cases where they responded quickly and supplied a new sprue (I had to pay for it) and occasions when they did not respond at all. So, I'd give DragonCare a try. You need to be prepared to provide them with the exact kit and sprue you want/need. If you missing a sprue that was Dragon's fault, you will need to provide a proof of purchase (receipt or other). They will ask for this info after they acknowledge your issue, so you don't need all that info right away. If you want to purchase the sprue because you lost a part, etc., all you will need is the kit number and sprue, probably best to send photos of the box top and the sprue in question from the instructions.
