The Abrams in this vidio have tan and green camo. Its from facebook and was taken at the Anniston Army Depo. Is this a test camo or have they been doing this because this is the first time that I've seen it? I know in europe they are painting them all over green with some tan still showing on some parts. Sorry I couldn't find a youtube vidio of it.

Morocco received some M1A1s from USA last year. They were painted with same camo pattern and colors that you shared. Probably these are made for Moroccan Army.

Hunh. They have the APU instead of the air conditioner in the basket. I wonder what sort of armor they have? I presume the Chobham stuff with the depleted uranium doesn't go to buyers that aren't really close to the US?

VCSU (Vapor Compression System Unit - or "air conditioner" as you called it) is only installed in M1A2SEP tanks. Those are M1A1.

My contribution to this is simply tying the threads together in case it is about the same tanks....

I was hoping that the US was using a new camo! I was already planning my next purchase to use this paint scheme! Maybe I will do it in the future.

Looks like the green follows the same pattern as the black in the NATO three tone scheme

I found another trainspotter video on YouTube called UP Military train. A very long train carrying a lot of M1's,some are in the tan and green scheme some are overall green. Following the tanks comes an almost endless line of M113 variants in everything from MERDC schemes to overall sand. 480 quality, but worth a look. Thanks, Mark
