Looks nice, greatly built and painted, just one question, why is the hull MG pointing up like that? I Don't even think it would reach that high!

Hi All,
Thanks for the replies!
This is an old Bandai kit. They put out an extensive 1/48 armor/softskin/accessory line in the ' 70s. Some are pretty durn good. My big gripe is that the plastic is ' 70s-era thick, and mainly, their figures: while beautifully moulded and detailed, inconsistantly proportioned Fer' instance, their US Jeep crew, some arms are the same size as Tamiya 1/35 arms!
The neat thing about this line is that every kit has an interior. :-) These range from the Tigers and Panther and M-4 which are fairly comprehensive, to their spartan Sd.Kfz.232 (ah, but what a great suspension!!!).
Juul, I painted it with Pactra Artillery Olive acrylic.
Lordette, I didn't notice the bow MG was askew until I was uploading... #:-)
I'll try to get a couple of other angles on tonight, as well as put on my Pzr Mk III. And my Sd.Kfz.232--when I bring it back from the hobby shop next week.
Thnaks, everyone!

The T-34/76 was my first Bandai kit. I thought it was an outstanding kit, yours looks good. I picked up a few during my travels: Opel Maultier, a pair of M4A3 76mm, M12 GMC, M30 ammo carrier, and a Hetzer. The Hetzer and one of my Shermans are Frog/Fuman re-pops and the M12 GMC is a Bandai kit in an Academy box.
I thought this series had real potential. It was bigger than 1/72-1/76 and fully compatible with a large range of aircraft kits. Eduard did make a few sets of photoetch for the Eduard kits. I've got a set for my Sherman, too bad they are OOP.

just a coment, but I think your engine compartment is way too clean for a battle-damaged tank, but again I have never seen a real one. real good tank indeed. #:-)

Hi Dragonslain, et al.,
Yes, I have not really weathered the interiors at all. I want to keep interiors 'fresh' so as not to distract from them. Since I display these closed the exteriors get the real treatment.
Now that I have looked them over in print (best way to judge your work is to photograph and examine it--I've spotted some other "How'd--I-miss--that?"s) I see a need to do some touch-ups.
Though the models are finished, their interiors are still a work in progress. I think about plumbing the engines and putting more fittings in the crew compartments.
Thank you again for your input!
