I plan to convert a 1/72-scale Pz.III into a Munitionsschlepper. The few reference photographs that I can find suggest that this was simply a redundant tank with the turret removed, and a canvas cover attached to a hinged frame over the opening in the hull top. Evidently, these vehicles were commonly used to carry ammunition for Tiger I tanks, particularly on the Eastern Front.
Although the photographs provide sufficient information on the exterior details, it is difficult to work out the internal arrangement. Of course, with the turret in place, very little would be visible. However, with the canvas cover raised, much of the interior is visible. As well as knowing what would actually be present (between the driver's position and the engine fire-wall), I need to have some idea as to the colours applied to the interior walls and floor.
