Doing a little recce here. How big a can of worms would I be opening using a conversion set for one kit maker on another's kit of the same subject? In particular the set for the Meng Leo 1A5 on the Revell Germany 1A5. I'd like to build an 1A5NO. The Revell kit can be had for about $20 less than the Meng. I live (subsist.) on a joke of a disability check so $90 for a project vs $60 is a big deal.

For a conversion like the Legend Production Leopard 1A5NO conversion I would think you could use it with the R-G 1A5 kit. There are no major parts requiring kit modifications in the conversion so it should be straight forward. Double check the fitting of the thermal exhaust covers if you plan on using them to make sure they fit properly.
