Hi guys.
Just a quick question. I've been trying to find out how widespread the use of Panzerschrecks was in Normandy?
I know Panzerfausts were common but were Panzerschrecks as common?
Thanks!

Googling for "Panzerschreck Normandy" pics should be worth trying
Search results
According to this book, it was not until the Normandy battles that this weapon began to appear in "large numbers"...

Thanks Henri-Pierre. I did google 'Panzerschreck Normandy' but considering that the Normandy campaign lasted around three months (early June to late August '44), none of the search results had dates so I was wondering if these weapons (like Tiger 2 tanks and StG44 assault rifles) only appeared later on in the Normandy campaign?
The book link you posted was of great assistance. Merci monsieur!

This one has been taken in Saint-Côme-du-Mont after the fall of the town on June 8 :

The panzerschreck is mentionned on several pages of this document (page 12, 20, 21...) dealing with the German 7th Army in Normandy in June 1944.
