hi brother,
another nice build after the Tiger I. I liked both the building and painting .I dont know why but it looked to me less weathered for a Ilhan vehicle. :-)
.... ve bu hızla giderseniz tankguys sayfasını sadece senin ve Sedef'in modelleri kaplayacak.
ellerine sağlık

Thank you brother :-)
Yes it's less weathered, cos..u know..i got some opinions like..if i'll display a model in my shelves i don't weather it like crazy, if i'll put it on a diorama..then it changes.
Tekrar teşekkürler

Very nice kit ..You have done a great job on this beauty...I have to say I love this model and I built it many years ago when I was just getting started ..I have it on my shelf waiting for its turn to be built ...If you would like a few suggestions...Maybe just a little drybrushing with a dark grey to show that these vehicles did arrive painted in dark grey and were painted over with the sand color....watch out around your lights and mirrors the silver paint seems to have gone a bit too far ..A trick I use is a raw umber wash will define the line between the glass(silver and the sides that should be sand color..and last but not least ...This may just be the picture but I don't think you drilled out the cannon...this can easily be done with a brand new #11 blade in your exacto ..Just put the point in the middle of the barrel and turn ...I even do my machine guns this way ...Please take these suggestions as little nit-picks that my "judging" eye notice and it does not take away from a really nice kit you have built ..congrats..
All the best ..and keep up the the good work

Thank you too for your comments Bear
Yep..the mirror is a dust piece (or picture as u say) , let's pass the color :-) but the barrel i've tried to drill a small barrel once, and all of a sudden whole barrel gone
That's why i don't touch the barrels anymore.
Thanx again

I'm sure if you try using the exacto blade you will see that it is very easy to control ..try it you'll see ...Hey if I can do it ...anyone can ..lol #:-)

it does look great I'd go for the blade method of opening out the barrel it is very easy to do or if you have some fine drill bits make an indentation with the blade then use the smallest drill bit to get the depth then use the next size up and slowly open it up it will make the diffrence or get a metal barrel for it or make a little muzzel cover for it with tissue paper and white glue its a nice clean build btw

Yes Mike. This tissue paper seems like a good idea :-)
I'll try it next time

How you finish your vehicle ... will always be your choice ... and your choice alone.
Although I agree really heavy weathering doesn´t really suit a vehicle on a shelf, but a slight hint of weathering ... where more is less ... would add another dimension to this in my opinion. Subtle being the optimum word.
Whatever you decide to do, it really well finished and add nicely to anybody´s collection. Is this OOB?

Nice work here. I like the shade of Afrikabraun you have on your 232. Weathering and decals suggest a new vehicle. My only suggestion would be some dark grey paint chipping. Any length of time in the field would reveal the original dark grey paint. Other then that, fantastic work !!

Cheers !!

Greets Guys,

Well done!

Tommorow (well, ok, today, if it isn't raining and my batteries hold their charge) I will put on pics of my 1/48 Afrika Sdkfz 232.

On mine the Afrikabraun is heavily weathered, exposing the original Panger gray. It lacks the clearance poles on the fenders...maybe I'll put some on tonight.

Hope you can all view it.
