The carpet monster devoured it and Heller won't sell/ship to the USA for some reason.

Can't seem to find anything aftermarket and I'm not that good of a scratch builder ... any suggestions?

Brian, try Dan Taylor Modelworks, he does a couple of Sherman detail sets that include antenna bases.

This page, and scroll down the page, there's a couple more Sherman sets.

I checked that out already and looks like the "No. 19" type? mount only. I've been scouring google to see if anyone makes anything similar

Which type of base? US, UK etc.? The type you want will have an impact on how to obtain one.

French...?

Possibly cheaper to just buy another kit by the time you factor in postage?

Its that exact kit --- I have an extra, actually two, but then I won't have one for the kit I steal it from

Yes, the thing is that it is probably the cheapest way of obtaining the part. However, as you have an extra, then you do have one that you can try to copy. Trying to copy it by casting is probably over the top for one copy of such a small object, probably better off trying to put it together from two or three thicknesses of plastic rod, or perhaps carving it from a piece of sprue or rod.
