Hello all...
I've got one bg question for you people, how to paint mono color vehicle to look like a real thing and not artificial or monotonous. I really like one color "camo", much more than that three color german style.
Here are some very nice examples I found: 1 2 3 4 5 6
I really like that dirty look, but they aren't muddy or dusty but looking old and used. You can also see how colors vary from one to another. Is this done by airbrushing very thin or lightened color over the model or is it done with washes? I'm sure that preshading has a very big impact on mono colored vehicles doesn't it?
Okay, that was it, I hope you could help me with some tips or quick plan.
Thanks for your answers, bye bye

I think its a bit of all by spraying many light thin coats on it allows to build up the main colour gradually andthen lighten the panels afterwards although some people like to lighten the panels after the washes, you can try diffrent ways spray the model all black and do a few light passes with paint mixed 50/50 or 70/30 thinners to paint try spraying at right angles to the kits surface or if doing a yellow scheme try using brown as a primer coat instead of black you can also post sade the edges ect after the kits has had its main colour applied
