Hello!

This is the beginning of my Scammell Heavy Artillery Tractor from Thunder Models and some aftermarket from Resicast.

First, the workable steering by Resicast :

Nice work Christophe.. that engine is stunning!!

I have to ask though, why go to Resicast for steering parts? It's easy to drill them yourself and make it all work.

I will shortly be starting a double build of the R100 and the SV2S from Thundermodel and will show how I did this. I have also found a couple of small changes to the build process to make life easier which I will show.

All in all, these are great kits though eh?

Thanks all!

@ Nigel : Why buy commercial products rather than doing it yourself?

Because I'm worth it!

If I may give you a tip Christophe.. before you paint the front bulkhead of the cab check the clearance over the engine. On my transporter i had to remove plastic from the top of the "tunnel" to clear the engine.

I also fitted B31 to the top of the engine before painting because the thin tube that goes up from the vacuum pump needs to be moved to fit B31.
