As a break after doing the Syrian Dio I though I would have a go at one of Airfix's Jackal in 1:48th -

Il be watching this one. Theres a few vids of the troops on forces tv to help with referencing if needed.

I wanted to get as much detail into this kit as possible - so using this to help - a great range of books -

First things were removing and replacing the mounded on storage and adding the etch -
Anti slip was added using a low grade sandpaper cut to size

Really wish there was a kit of this or the 6x6 in 1/35. I do like the look of these vehicles.

Now on with the main painting stage -like I said I wanted to get away from the sand coulr so have gone with the green version to be differnet-
I used AK Real Colours Nato green as a base which was darkened and lightened to suit to give some variation to the base colour.
It was also on with the detail painting...
