As a break after doing the Syrian Dio I though I would have a go at one of Airfix's Jackal in 1:48th -
What I didn't want to do is your typical Afghan version but go with one as used in Estonia at present.
Apart from the kit I am using the etch from Airfix plus scratched items.

Really wish there was a kit of this or the 6x6 in 1/35. I do like the look of these vehicles.

Now on with the main painting stage -like I said I wanted to get away from the sand coulr so have gone with the green version to be differnet-
I used AK Real Colours Nato green as a base which was darkened and lightened to suit to give some variation to the base colour.
It was also on with the detail painting...

Paul R probably meant to say "Really wish there was a kit of this or the 6x6 in 1/35th scale, that did not cost an arm, leg and first born"
Paul B. Very impressive build and paint work. Nice to see this in a green finish for a change.

£95:00
lets split that cost in four parts to get £23:75. If we assume that your first born is twice as valuable as an arm or a leg your first born would be on the market for £ 47:50 (plus packaging & postage of course)?
On the other hand (or arm / leg) a simple Jeep by Dragon at Hannants (UK vendor to eliminate pricing differences due to different VAT et.c) costs a little over one pound more than an arm or leg (plus p & p):
https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/DN6725 £24:99
Other Dragon kits cost more, if we take this one as an example:
https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/DN3586
M3 halftrack with TCM-20
it would set you back more than one first born
