I wasn't sure where to post this, I wanted some opinions about field radio's I know who makes different sets, but who has the most accurate? I have a number of Verlinden, which seem a little big (must be the standard for Verlinden equipment). I can't remember the designation for it, it is the back pack type but the larger of the two. Out of all the different ones that I have in my possession this seems the best choice, the most detailed. By the way how long would the antena be?

I think you're talking about Verlinden Ref:0352 , aren't you?
In this set you've got 5 radios. Two of them are the same (the 2 bigest one) and were fitted on vehicles.
The smallest one the ( walkie-talkie) is an BC 611 and had been used quite every where.
The square one with a phone on used to be fitted in jeep or Half -track...
And the last one is an BC 1000 and were used between Compagny and Batallion.
Sizes are quite good for all. Just add some harness and straps !
Bye

The radio is the BC 1000, I've also noticed that they have a cover, was this normal to remove the cover? Also still looking for an answer on how long the antena would be in scale?

Yes it's very usual to see BC1000 without cover.
The real antena is 80cm long.
BTW, have a look on my website and clic on "radio" or if you need more drop me a mail.
