Nice!

Now we can tick off one more kit from the
"Why didn't they do xxxx instead of this" whine and complain list

One more piece of good news is that on Takom's FB page, it announced the release date of May 2018!

ICM did a D version several years back. I have one of them. Thought it was pretty good.

Wow! First there was no Bergepanthers worth building, and now TWO variants! Excitement builds! Really looking forward to a build review/comparison article this summer. In the mean time I'm really looking forward to getting my mitts on one of Meng's amazing-looking Ausf "A"s.

As well! I'm guessing that the Meng kit is the one that is using TMD's amazing Bergepanther conversion set. I am so looking forward to this kit and have been for years! Definitely the kit of the year for me.

I think the TAKOM kit is using the TMD Conversion.

Are you sure about that I just came from the TMD site and the Meng offering sure looks like the conversion set that Joe at TMD offered. Either way I am sure that both offerings are great, it is just that I wanted a styrene version of the TMD conversion that I have heard so much about.

It's the Takom one that uses Joe's design.

The bergepanther-specific pieces are based on Joe's design, which he has confirmed in a couple of older threads. Incidentally both Takom kits are available from Amazon.com at less than $70 USD with free shipping.

Those are being drop-shipped by Sprue Brothers; you can get them on their website for even a little less depending on what shipping type you pick.
