Working on the Dragon Panther A (Late). Can't get the side skirts to fit properly. Are these segments supposed to slightly overlap? The "hangers"are located right but a few of the skirts are too long.
Thanks in advance! John S.

G'day John
Yes, they're supposed to overlap. From memory, put them on from the back working forward.

Rob

Thank you, Sir! In looking at a lot of photos of the real thing and of models I could not tell anything about that little overlap. I thought "Surely these Dragon parts can't be THAT off!".

For what it's worth, I just finished a Dragon Panther A and had no trouble with this whatsoever.
I was dry fitting the plates, however, after gluing the hanger struts so they could be micro-tweaked into the right position for each plate.
When it comes to this sort of thing, tiny imperfections with things being just slightly off can mean the Schurzen don't fit easily.

Thank you, Sir. Once I found out that the plates need to overlap slightly it was relatively smooth sailing.
