Hey, I need your opinions about some 1:35 Revell kits I found interesting.
The most important thing for me is that parts have a fairly good fit and are quite well molded, details aren't so important for me yet, since I'm modelling only for a couple of months now.

- TPz I Fuchs 6x6 (03018)
- Panzerhaubitze PzH 2000 (03042)
- LAV-25 (MC) 'Piranha' (03054)
- M 60 A3 Patton (03057)
- M1 A2 Abrams (03059)

Is Revell's Abrams better than Italeri's?
And if I'm not mistaken, Academy also has M60 Patton, right? I assume the Academy's kit is better.

And please don't tell me to buy Tamiya or something else because I can't get other brands and I have no intension to buy online (yet). :-)

Thanks for your answers guys, bye

In 1/72 scale, there is no equal in injection molded kits.

Having said that, here goes with the 1/35 Revell kits you ask about:

Fuchs: Not as good as their 1/72 scale kit, simplified undercarriage. Your only choice.
PzHbt 2000: Decent, includes a huge aluminum barrel, again, your only choice.
LAV-25: Reboxed Italeri kit, best of the two LAV-25 that were marketed (Esci was other). Complaints are that the kit more closely resembles the prototype and not the production LAV.
M60A3: Excellent rebox of the old Esci kit. This is the best M60 series kit on the market.
M1A2 Abrams: Rebox of the Italeri Abrams. While it looks good in the box, I hear too many folks complaining about building it.

I agree with the comments so far...

I'm building one of the Italeri M1A2 Abrams, and I'm trying not to bag on it too much. After the DUKW - I was expecting a better effort in the M1A2. Mine had some quality issues - but I've also read that others haven't experienced all the things I found in my kit. I'm sticking with it and I think it will come out nicely when done. It's just good to be forewarned...
