Kit #3601 (Arab StuG.III Ausf. G) would be perfect, but the Six Day War series isn't the best value – older sprues, not very much photoetch, DS tracks, higher price, and so on. I'd go for kit 6581 (StuG.III Ausf.G Smart kit) instead. It's a few dollars more expensive but has Magic Tracks. Hope this helps!

Those Syrian Stugs were various G models. The DML kit does have the accurate zip box and the hvy mg mount on the commanders cupola. DML got the mg wrong. It is supposed to be a Spanish? Italian? AFAIK can't remember the make. They did use the Duska but I think it was a different mount. It is distinctive because of the venting on the barrel and the twin ammo can set up.

Hi Mykman,
All of the above is correct to a degree, the new 6 day war Stug has the AA mount & the gun should be a 12.7mm Saft which was a licence built copy of the AMA Duece but altered slightly.
All I can say is triple check your references as to what version you need, I am also slowly building a Syrian Stug & it is literally requiring 5 different Stugs or a bit of scratch building & at least two kits.
All the best
Mike

Thanks for the lot of replys guys !
I would like to build it as it is in the picture , so fortunately the MG not needed
I guess i`ll go with the 6593 kit , the upper doors are facing the right direction and the cupola "bump" is there but slightly more rounded. The MG mount can be easily to build it seems. The bolted right armour next to the mantlet is in the box.
I have made an album here from the available photos :

Most of them made by DimaWaPhoto on Facebook.
Could someone notice more Big differences with the 6593 by any chance ?
Cheers
Karoly

I just noticed this wreck has both the early And late mg mount s. Odd to say the least. They are both missing though and the hole isn't plated over...
