Filter color for NATO camo

Hey whats going on guys. Trying to figure out what a good color filter would work on NATO tri color scheme. Thanks.

Would it not depend on the colour shift that you are trying to achieve? A bit like asking which colour filter you should use on a camera lens.

for NATO i prefer the dot filter technique. i would apply red and green on the black, black and red on the green, black and green on red. add some dots of white or sandy colour to tone them down a bit

Depending on the results you are trying to achieve, ocher, tan, or light grey usually work.

I just ordered the ak nato filter a couple of days ago. I read the description for it but still wondering if its only applied to the base color.

Apply over the three tone camo.
