I'm presenting this very nice figure from Evolution miniatures-soviet officer from GRU-Glavnoye Razvedyvatelnoye Upravleniye (Гла́вное разве́дывательное управле́ние in Russian), i.e. Military intelligence (from Aghanistan 1984-1989).
The figure is superbly cast, my only worry is the attachment point on the muzzle of the AKS-74-one should be very careful when removing the weapon.

I'm not very familiar with that type of Spetsnaz uniforms, so any info for the colors would be appreciated
Thanks!

The detail is excellent indeed
What I found for the uniform is that is called Gorka ("Горка"-Костюм горный in Russian), i.e. Mountain suit, the other name was "Mobutu".
Gorka
The color looks like khaki, but I'm sure there are variations.

Those Adidas sneakers don't seem to be standard Red Army footwear...
Beautiful work so far!

Thanks again, Mario!
Thank you, Israel!
I'm pretty sure wearing the standard boots in hot weather is real pain, so they probably preffered the sneakers. And in Special troops they were allowed to wear non-formal equipment, as far as I know
Painting the AKS-74 and gluing the arms.
Cheers!

Amazing work!
Figure painting is always the hardest task for me. The attention to detail and skill you have is something I really admire.

Thank you, Keigan!
Mario, I have something in mind-mountain/hilly scene, but first I intend to make the vignette for the "Duck feet" Navy SEAL
