Our club is doing another veteran build, this time a M1151 from around 2004/05. The two photos I have to go off of at this time. I know enough about Humvee's to know I don't know enough.
We plan to use the Academy M1151 kit. I think the Rhino photo is the easier of the two to replicate. We can use a Bronco or Legend Rhino parts. I am not sure about the turret and another items that photo may have that I don't know about.
The other photo has different armored doors that are not offered in any aftermarket set that I know about.
If anyone has done a club build with a Humvee, how did you part down the tasks. Here is my quick thoughts but does that really work.
Tires
Turret
Chassis
Body
Overall paint and decals
Weathering
Figures
Base
Thanks in advance for any help.

Both Humvee's have the same doors. The 2nd picture has "hillbilly" armor added to the doors. The turrets in both pictures are the same and are in the Academy kit.
The tow strap on the hood left of the razor wire can be made out of Tamiya tape or some other material that is the same. You can get the camo netting on the turret and razor wire after market.
I don't remember, but I am pretty sure that the Academy kit does not come with a M240B.

The live resin M240B 35015 minus the tripod should work then?

Ryan,
Sure, but in my opinion better option is LRE 35017 M240B Military Systems Group Inc. H24-6 Machine Gun Mount with HMMWV mount and armour shield
