Made some basic changes to conform to one of the first few tigers employed by the 501st (as per David Byrden's excellent website, tiger1.info)t:
1) Removed the S-mine bases.
2) Removed the engine support legs on the rear hatch
3) Nipped off part of the extensions rear of the hull where the towing hooks are attached
4) sanded off some of the attachment points of tools not needed for this version
Changes I wasn't able to do:
1) Move the tow cables forward
2) Reshape the armor extending in front of the hull to the proper shape.

So after some research, I decided to go the convenient route paint the Afrika Tiger Ral 8020 and 7027. I saw a website advocating the use of XG 57 and 72. Unfortunately... I am not too happy with the finish. It seems too light even for 802p. Not sure if I should proceed because the weathering will darken the finish anyway or I should re-do everything and go with a darker color. To top it all off - it rained as I was applying the brown camo. Kinda frustrating haha
