Gonna take a break from serious modelling to build fantasy 1/72 scale tanks.



For those who don't know, Modelcollect is a brand that only focuses on two things: Soviet Cold War armor and German "Paper Panzers". The latter ones are pure fun. You never thought a V1 could be ftted on a E-100, could you?

Anyways, on with the kit. This is basically two flak 8,8 cm on a E-100.



DS-like tracks, PE parts and metal barrel. Nice.



The kit even provided a engine. Interesting.

Looks nice!! I've just got back from the Gloucester show having looked over a lot of Modelcollect kits. Very impressive..

I think you'll find they also do a range of 1/72 US Bombers?

Some more progress today.

Engine fitted in.



The turret. A pain to build. Especially the gun. Their were no attachment points for the two barrels; just two holes. Impossible to align. To make matter worst, super glue had to be used. So I decided to build a 'shotgun' version.
