if you're trying to model the real sphinx in Giza near Cairo then there are no columns surrounding it. If you remove the Sphinx and leave the temple set up then you have something that kind of looks similar to the temple at Luxor/Karnack.
hope this helps

The Sphinx might also work better with 1/144 scale vehicles/figures.

Nice work Tom , regarding your sphinx , Zahi Hawass former Egyptian minister of antiquities estimates that only about 30% of statues and monuments have been discovered .
So that means that you have a 70% chance of your build existing .
Those are good odds and I like what you're building and what direction you're heading , keep at it man build on !!!

Glad you guys are behind it.
Already super glued down, sand and rubble added and painted.
To change it I would have to destroy it all and start over.
Besides,I rather like it.
Thanks for all the comments and don't mean to offend anyone.

Really nice start, Tom! Love those headless figures at the front of each row. Were those from Amazon or that mummy shop?

Another gem in the making Tom & so consistent, leading the eye round the composition again - I got so wrapped up in the architecture I didn’t even see Monty until the 3rd circuit. Beautiful weathered masonry effects & best interior lighting I’ve seen...since your last venture into north Africa!

Well done Tom, as usual you make the eyes bounce all over picking up details & be curious what’s round the corner/pillar. Great natural lighting too, it really does take it up a level.
