I guess it's a T-84U "Oplot" (upgraded T-80UD), it probably belongs to the Ukrainian 14th Mechanized Brigade :

AFAIK the "U" variant hasn't been released by Trumpeter (yet ?)...

Trumpeter currently have the basic T-84 plus the U, UD (Russian?) UMD (Russian?) and BM Oplot-M versions. A UM is promised for 2018: similar to the one in your photo but not quite the same. Xact also do the Oplot-M version but it seems to have a large panoramic sight absent from the Trumpeter offering.

Did Xact model ever release their Oplot? I thought they went under before it was released

French,
I think the other poster is just confused.
But You are correct, there is only Ukrainian T-84 and T-84BM Oplot kits released so far.
Trumpeter has released the kits of the T-80U and T-80UD, and in the near future we may see the T-80UM (with Areana Active Defense). I guess the announced kit of the Black Eagle could be included in the T-80 family too?

I don't thinks Trumpeter T80U and UD are already out.
I have the T84 , a great kit, and will buy the T84 BM which looks to be the version sold to Thailand but not in uses in Ukrainian army.
I didn't know that Ukraine have a unit of upgraded T84!!
I saw ukrainians T84 with this camo but i thought it was pre sales tanks.
Is this camo Ukrainian one or just Thai one (as future buyer)???

Pardon my ignorance, but what`s the difference between a Soviet T-80 and an Ukraine T-84?

The T84 was based on the T-80UD, simmilar to the T-80. The T-84 has new welded turret and Shtora-1 countermeasures suite, new electronics, new main gun, new armor, and 1,200 hp (895 kW) 6TD-2 diesel engine.
I think currently Ukraine has 10 of the Oplot M in service, with various other countries looking to buy.
