Definitely welcome. The Ausf. E has only ever been kitted by Dragon so there aren't hordes of other kits falling over one another for early PzkpfwIV.

I saw this pop up on Hobbysearch last week. I immediately pre-ordered it. This will complete my Pz. IV A through J family. Now, just need to build them.

Is this a completely original new-tool from Zvezda?

Good question! I was just wondering how this one will compare with the dragon offerings and when a build review might be coming to us. Something to look forward to.

You'd have to get the "vorpanzer" kit and like this doesn't have the Africa modifications? But it looks like Zvezda gave you a pile of jerry cans for an Africa tank and I like the looks of the link and length track. I got used to it in 1/72 and really like it over indy link or band.

And this looks simpler than the Dragon kits so guys who don't need a billion pieces can build it. The Tristar and Dragon pzkpfw IV kits still give me nightmares.

It looks to be a simplified Tristar offering. Not saying that Tristar offered this. I do like the inclusion of the casting numbers and it link-n-length tracks. While the exhaust looks nice, being a single piece, I would hate to try weathering(rusting) it. While not necessary, I prefer some interior turret detail. Overall, it should appeal to beginners, tighter budgets and those not seeking the madness that are Dragon kits.

Isn't the tail light/convoy light the late pattern (by mistake or my mistake)? In spite of that (??), if I was still into 1/35, I would buy this kit - looks nice! Any word on a price point?
