The kit is 2113 and it'll be out in June according to their FB.

Would anyone know, or if they're familiar with Takom be able to speculate if this kit can be built as a cold war variant? Or do you think that will come later as a separate release?
This is good news either way as it is my most desired kit.

I think so. I was on the M60A1 Ries Passive in Europe. I remember the grenade boxes on the side of the turret instead of being mounted to the air cleaners and aluminum road wheels.

Wait to see what parts are in the box. In all likelihood it'll have everything to build an Army M60A1 RISE/Passive. Just move the grenade boxes and tow cable storage back to the turret and leave off the ERA armor.
Besides AFV-club already does the Cold War M60A1 and you'll notice by doing this one first Takom is going for the M60A1 not yet kitted by AFV-Club?
But with Takom's record of dong multiple variants we'll probably see all kinds of variations like maybe the Austrian and Turkish M60A3s or a slick M60? GO for the variations and markings AFV-club hasn't done.
Now take that CM-11 turret you did Takom and do a M48A5 kit.
