I know there are a number of camo schemes used by the Russians. Is there any ryhme or reason to where and what vehicles they are used on. (Seems everybody uses the Olive/Sand/Black.) I'm mostly interested in current hot spots .... Syria, Ukraine, Ossetia, Chechnya, Baltic....

The current paint order in place for Russian Army Forces is just green. As vehicles are acquired from the manufacturer, or brought in for depot level repair/upgrade and are repainted, they are done in green.

Tri-color and other non-green schemes were dropped in 2016-17 by direct order. However, equipment in cammo will be left in cammo until it is necessary to repaint.
