Tamiya JS-2 & Is-3 lower hull the same?

Hey all, I have a simple (I hope!) question. I have recently bought the Tamiya JS-2, kit #35289, with the intention of buying Fruil metal tracks for it, but was surprised to see it came with link & length tracks. Later in the year, I also plan to but the Tamiya JS-3 kit #35211, and am wondering...will the link & length tracks fit the JS-3?????

The hulls are technically different. Though, the track suspension and tracks are pretty much the same. It could work in theory.
