I need help with what markings this Panther would wear. I've matched the camo job best I can, but cannot find what markings I should use. Come on guys, I know somebody knows.

I know, the link is wrong. I've tried to fix it, but cannot. On the left hand side of the page that comes up, click on the armor link. Scroll down to the Panther. That is the one I need help with. Sorry for the around the world method of getting help.

Hey,
Here is one link

I've got more at home, and will post later when I find them.

This probably won't be a big help but in my gallery is a shield associated with the Frundsberg Division of which the SS Panzer Regiment 10 was part.

Ola Patrick

The panther you are doing/wanting to built is one that drove around in Arnhem. In the book where these pictures are coming from Say that a lot of Vehicles during the Market Garden Operation did not even had unit numbers or other vehicle markings. Some of them had them others didn`t. Same is for the BalkanKreuzen A lot of vehicles only had those for markings. Nothing more, just three tone camo and Bushes

As you know, Operation Market-Garden landed smack in the lap of the 2nd SS Panzer Corps who had been resting in the vicinity of Ousterbeek and Arnhem. The Corps surviving units were just in the process of preparing to entrain for Germany and a badly needed refit after being badly mauled escaping from the Falaise Gap a few months earlier. New equipment arriving from depots in Holland and the Kassel region just across the Rhine would only have the Balken Kruz and perhaps a Reichsbahn loading stencil on their hulls. The 3-digit vehicle ID number was applied with stencils by the crew---the same for the division markings.
The picture identifies the Panther as being from 1st Battalion, SS Panzer Regt. 10. That would be 10th SS Panzer Division "Frundsberg." The 1st Battalion always had priority in refitting, and would have received available Panthers first. Rarely did the 2nd Battalion of a division receive Panthers, usually having to make due with PZ 4's
If you choose to apply chalked on outlined stencil numbers, they would be 1st-4th Company, then the platoon and vehicle number. The Division marking is a cursive capitol Germanic "F". I have seen it in both yellow and white in the normal right side hull front and left side rear tool box positions

Thanks for the help guys. As you can imagine, these markings are not on any of my decal sheets that I have.....So, I will drop back and put and go with no markings. I guess this will have to do.
Here is a photo of my RMG Panther before weathering.

Here's one after weathing, but still lots to do.....
