I check the image merkava-4m,the color is much more darker,it look like dark grey.or may be khaki drab?
it is not the color you get when mixing medium grey plus khaki.do anyone know the actual color?

I guess it looks darker because these tanks are fairly new. They're in the same color as rest of the IDf stuff. You can always add a darker shade of grey if you're after a slightly darker appearance...

Try mixing medium or dark gray with buff (around 50/50) with a hint of dark green perhaps...

I would recomend to use the new AR real colors acrlic laquer. They have a 1990 upward IDF color

i still hold that the best colour for modern IDF is vallejo air light grey-green

Richard, Thanks for asking the question. I got my 4M yesterday and was thinking the same thing. ModelMaster makes Israeli Armor Sand/Grey it's enamel, not acrylic. The medium grey / khaki mix looks good too. The kit looks pretty straight forward and I have been pleased with Mengs products so far. Well, time to get started. Good luck, Mark
