Hi, i have a question to the french modelers here, i have found the Hägglunds bvs10 in a kit scale 1/48 and i wounder if the french army have been using it in Mali or Afghanistan yet? Or is it only at home regements? Any photos from mali or afghanistan if it's any special decals on them ?

Talking about Afghanistan, I guess only the BV206S had been deployed there by the French Army :

Spain sent also some BV206S to Afghanistan with the Mountain Brigade troops.
A cadre of technicians from the same spanish unit was in France some months back checking the demobbed BV206S in view of possible purchase.

Many thanks guys for the photos and info, Henri-Pierre have the BvS10 been used in any other african country by the French army then as i found a photo that looks like it come from Africa ? Sorry i still dont know how to put up photos here..

I found them in a store in Paris, quite expensive 95 euro each but they look nice and are the only ones i'm aware of.. They are in resin.. I have ordered both versions, more details when they are released, and i have got them..

Yes i have seen that bvs10 kit also, it looks ok, but i dont like when the window are cast in resin.. I dont think they are related to each other as master fighter come from Gasoline..
Lets hope for a 1 /35 vesion too..
