Not wishing to hijack the thread but can anyone recommend a 1/35 scale version. I have TRIED to build Revell`s ambulance version and binned it - it`s that bad, it fits where it touches, the medi-pod doesn't fit the chassis and the suspension is riddled with sink holes. I have two more in the stash (icv and another hospital version) which I am seriously thinking of putting on E-Bay to get rid of them.

German Boxer MRAV Hobby Boss - Nr. 82480 - 1:35
Is the only other game in town... but it is alledged to be based on the prototype...
Voyager & others do PE for it & I THOUGHT that Perfect-Scale-Modelbau did an update set for it, but if so, it's not currently listed.

Oi, Trumpeter - job opportunity........... But someone like Meng or Panda might surprise us all.
It's way past time for HB to update their offering to production spec and do some variants.
One assumes that there might be some kit movement if Australia adopts Boxer too. Revell - you just stand fast in the corner....
High-hull medical and C4I variants are likely for the UK, if the original FRES UV variant list is any guide - although MIV is just a slight shadow of the projected FRES UV fleet. A turreted version will not be part of the UK mix.

Anyone remembers that RoG did the kit in co-operation with ARTEC?
I doubt that TR or HB or Panda will get the same assistance. I would like to see a GTK Boxer from Tamiya. They did a good job in co-operating with KMW with the Leopard 2`s.

A little behind the news. The Australian Govt has already confirmed the Boxer is winner of the competition for the replacement of the ASLAV and it will be built in Queensland, Australia.

Australian Army signed off on 200-odd of them to be licence built just west of Brisbane. 1st vehicle expected next year IIRC my internal briefs received recently

Remember Trumpy and HB are from the same stable so that's unlikely. I do like the notion of MENG getting into the game though, and a new Puma would be welcomed too.

Kind of desperate the way it's painted that way with that slogan, while being a product of Krauss-Maffei / Rheinmetall. "100% of final assembly will take place in Britain". So very much like Austin Powers' (BMW) Mini.
