Hi I've built the Hobby Boss M911 and M747 Trailer, I'm in the process of building an M60A2 for the load. I did my history and they were carried by the tractor and trailer.

Will do I've just got to bring it all together and then do the tie downs tank to trailer.

Id be really interested to see pics and a description of how you did the tie downs!

Here's a question: One feature of both M911/M747 kits is the moulded-in-place tie down points on the trailer sides

Why oh why do this? Other cargo vehicles, that may or may not use their tie downs every time, get individual fittings. MTVR, M939 etc.

But doesn't a transporters load get tied-down every time?

I also had an excellent experience buying T-10 spruces from MENG. The customer service is excellent.

I'm not sure I am following you. Do you mean the tie-down loops on the sides of the trailer. If so, they are just extra tie-down points if needed.

Pet peave of mine. The runners that hold model parts are sprues, s-p-r-u-e-s, no c. A spruce is a tree; spruces are multiple spruce trees.

Thanks Gino. So if I understand you, the d-rings on the trailer sides should be replaced with ones in the "opened/raised" position as they would be under tension from the chain binders?

Trying to find some decent pics of tanks tied down. I bought the ties from accurate armour US Modern set.

They are pictured in my above post w/a link to Accuarate Armour in blue. Scroll down until you see the pic of them at Accurate Armour. You will have to click on "Load More Items" at the bottom a couple of times to see them.

I bought the shapeways chain binders but, having 0 experience with this medium.....HELP!

Can anyone assist with turning these into chain binders? I just gaze at the complex shape and wonder: cut that off, or cut this off.
