Hello all ,
I know there have been threads in the past discussing the best kit to use to make an Australian M1 tank, and conversions sets that can be used for that purpose, as well. However, many of those threads are several years old, and I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas about the best current kit and conversion sets that are available TODAY to use to make an Australian M1. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hey Curt !
I still use the trusted Dragon kit, although all the newer kits are all very good .... I stick to M1A1 AIM's I still have stashed since I can't really see any outstanding improvements provided with newer alternatives. Believe it still is the most accurate kit when it comes to dimensions.
Here's one I build "pre-weathered":
Going abroad at the time I left with my friend Max and he is gradually making it look realistic:
Since Max loves to build M1's and get's really in-depth will all the detailing .... he concluded that the Academy Kit, the revised/corrected one, is the best alternative in his opinion.
Good luck with your project !
Cheers
