I know I can get a couple of 1/16 weapons from Shapeways and Live Resin. But I am looking for a bit more.

I will try and sculpt a shemagh around his neck and some blankets along with horse tack that looks more the part for Afghanistan.

Yes you can! Depending on the era you want, here are the companies that you can use.

- Airborne Miniatures (Maciek) sells spare parts cheap. Email him direct what you need from his catalog of modern figures and pay him via PayPal. I did this many times. He's legit and ships pretty fast. You can even swap out the torso for a MOLLE or SPEAR vest one and hope that it matches the width of the legs. His gear are all the same size however, his torsos may vary in width and height.

- Legends sells 1/16 M4 magazine pouches and Crye ballistic helmet.

- Live-Resin sells awesome 1/16 M4s. You get three variants of the M4 per package.

Your #1 "Go to" is Airborne Miniatures and buying his spare parts. He will send you more than one spare part of the same part if you ask and pay for it.
