to all you that build Sherman kits ,when you build the suspepention do you use the kit poly caps or not ? and do you glue all parts before painting? this is my frts sheman build ,any and ideas will be great, thanks guys .have a great day .

It would help to know which kit you are building, and if you are talking about E8 type (HVSS) or standard VVSS suspension. In any case, I find that it is easiest to leave the suspension bogies OFF the model and paint them individually.

those I've built up that had them, I used. wasn't any real reason not to, and the rotation help fit the tracks, that were rubber/vinyl

If the road wheels rotate I'll give them a quick shot of primer then base color, assemble the bogies and leave them off until I'm done building then paint the base color and when the painting is done glue them in place then weather.

thanks guys,the kit is the Tamiya easey 8 the tracks are rubber type and the road whells will fit if don't glue them toghter ,I will use Tamiya 62 for the base cote .you have helped a lot with your answers ,agin thanks .
