This may seem like a strange thing to be thinking about, but I am working on a 1/72-scale diorama featuring a US military roadblock in Iraq. I have the necessary vehicle, figures and the scenic setting worked out, but wonder what could be advertised on the hoarding (billboard) at the side of the road. The road is actually a highway, so the hoarding would be fairly large, and probably be publicising a major product. Would there have been 'Coke' adverts (with Arabic text), or any other western brands? Or would there be more logical Middle Eastern products?

Thanks for the response. In fact, I managed to find online an advertisement for Iraqi Airways, which is perfect for a roadside hoarding, and it immediately places the diorama in context.
