Here is a picture of the instructions along with the part in question. This is supposed to be part M44 but as you can see they are different. I have gone over the sprues countless times and there are no other parts that look like the hinge piece shown. I am used to manufacturers mislabeling a part or there is a part in the instructions you were never told to glue but shows up in the instructions. All I can think of is perhaps the missing piece broke from the sprue without me noticing. Anyone else run into this problem?

Someone did a build of this kit and had the same problem, although I think he thought he had damaged it himself.
The part is ok in my kit.
