Would these figures be suitable for say, up to the 50s? In other words can I populate my JS IIIs, ISU 122Ss,SU 100s and even SU 122 54 with these figures?

Looking at pictures from 1950's it doesn't look like they would fit, but I'm not an expert

However MiniArt does have this kit announced for the future and it looks like this one might be the one you're looking for:

Indeed! if one is a Cold War modeller then Miniart are really spoiling us.
These - and the planned - figures will look pretty good on the display tables I reckon; I can hardly wait for their SU-122-54 and be able to populate it accordingly.
