Friends,
we're on our way towards the end of the RMG Campaign. Only a few more days and then the curtain falls. March 31st is the deadline that is ahead of us.
For a Campaign Leader this is the time to start preparing the final coutdown !
So far I have registered 7 participants who have completed their entries :
- DaveCox
- Alpha 1-7-0
- Dustoff
- LestWeForget
- Porkchop
- ShermiesRule
- Bep
- Kancali
All the pictures from the participants above are in the Gallery. If I have forgotten somebody who already completed his entry, please let me know.
As a reminder I'd like to say that te deadline is, and will remain March 31, 2004. All pictures have to be in my mailbox on March 31 in YOUR LOCAL TIME. All entries that arrive after that date, will be published in the Gallery, but those participants do not receive the Campaign medal. I'm sorry, but the deadline is final.
I invited the Armorama General Roy Urquhart to decorate the participants, who succeeded this mission, with the elected Campaign Ribbon in the first week of April.
I hope you'll all attend the ceremony to congratulate those who have succeeded.
To the particpant that are still building I'd like to say : Good Luck those final days, I'm looking forward to your pictures !

The last 10% take 50% of the time - all you mathmatitians figure that one out.
Making steady progress - will do what it takes to get it done and in your email box. Hopefull before 03/31/2004 23:59
Seriously, lookin' good. making steady progress. Verbal update, rain gutters on, wall prepped and almost on, figures washed and assembled, and detail painted.

Olaaaaaaaaaaa
Only have a figure and some Sparewheels to paint and I`m ready.
I completed the groundworks this week. Airborne Jeep is ready for Action. 2 of the three figures are already in place. The 37 mm PAK is covered with branches for Camo.
Will finish without any problems. And definately on schedule

That's looking good guys, just a couple of days left before the final curtain falls......
That's simple, because we agreed on using the Diorama Forum in the early stages of our Campaign

Funny thing about these campaigns: when they start you think man, that's a long time. Then, after procastinating, you realize you wish you had more time. I really need to work on my time management.

Aarrgghh, I've run into all kinds of problems. I already had to stop with the StugIII and started on an Italeri Panther, f**** up my trees, having trouble with the dio base plate.
Stil 5 more days, let's see if we can do some magic.

March 31st? Heck I thought it had to be done by the 28th. Two extra days!!
Mobelwagon is done, figures are done and the celluclay is drying at home on the base as we speak. Paint and weather the ground work and I'll be done.

Only 5 days left guys. Be sure to be in time, since the Armorama General Urquhart didn't plan to take his ribbons back home ! He wants them on your chests.

Saturday's gone - what a day - spent three times as much time as I normally do and man did I get a bunch done
- more rubble, and more rubble placement,
- added broken windows,
- more washing done,
- base is pastelled,
- 3 of 5 figures pastelled,
- figures placed,
- milliputted some extra gear,
Sounds like everyone is 'getting it together' should be a grand finish!

Hi all!
Only thing thats been holding me up has been the parachute..I've tried
in order.
Aluminum foil
Plastic bag
Cloth (standard)
Silk
Spandex
... but finally have succeeded(?) with latex.. So Parachute- version 6.0 has
been painted , and will be placed tommorrow am.. then pics and entry.
Good luck to all on the finish!

I agree with Dave - Thank you for running a great campaign. Lots of fun, nice length, it generated a lot of discussion a lot of interest and I know there are a lot more people who know a lot more about Market Garden.

Ola People
I as Second in Command want to thank everybody that joined this Campaign. A lot of terrific Dio`s were built and I liked to see how people started to investigate and do some research of what happened during the Operation Market Garden.
I from my side want to give a big Cheers to all participants for these great months
